Waterways:

The Osceola Port is 85 miles from Newport; it is the closest general purpose river terminal. It also has a rice grain terminal. The port is within 5 miles of I-55, and 46 miles from I-40. The Osceola Port has increased the speed to unload rice and grain. There has been an improvement to the roads that go to the facility. Three new scales have been added to weigh trucks. $2,000,000 is planned for improvements in the next year and a half.
